Barks N' Rec

The owner Debbie was so gracious and accommodating to me. I felt like my dog was in exceptionally caring hands because of her. I’ve never boarded my dog before this so I was a little nervous. And it was going to be for almost 30 days…But Debbie allayed all of my concerns. It couldn’t have gone better and I’m so thrilled to have found BarksnRec. I highly recommend it. Unlike the big chains, this is a very hands-on operation with an owner who adores dogs and has a few adopted ones of her own, like mine .

We have been coming to Barks n Rec for over 5 years and love it so much, as does our dog! It's the only place we board or send our dog to daycare. Debbie is the best.

Love this place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My 3 huskies stayed the night and Barks and rec was very accommodating by keeping all 3 together. Will definitely be using them in the future!

I drive all the way from Venice for this boarding facility, I cannot say enough kind things about Barks N Rec!!! Connected to a vet’s office, full time staff that truly knows your dog and cares about him, cameras everywhere. Anytime I’ve taken my dog somewhere else, he comes back with a nail missing or kennel cough or something — NEVER at Barks N Rec!!! Thank you thank you thank you for taking such amazing care of Duke!

Barks n Rec is a phenomenal facility that I would recommend to anybody looking to give proper care for their dogs when they can't. The staff are kind and outgoing; they truly look out for your pet. The festivities are clearly on display in the lobby and they change up all the time to keep a fresh new look for the center. I cannot tell you how many times that they have come and saved the day for a moments when we had to board our dog or have emergency daycare sessions. They are a fun group and, personally, my dog shakes the car every time we turn the corner to go to Barks n Rec. I highly urge anyone looking for a daycare for their new dog or looking for a new one for their old dog to try this place out and see just how fantastic it is for yourself.
