P-K Pet Resort & Spa

Before I get started I want to emphasize that the prices are VERY reasonable. We paid similar prices at our last facility for 8 years, which we loved, but did not get this level of care or oversight like 24/7 cameras, updates and pictures. Anyway, we just moved to Minnesota and tried P-K Pet Resort & Spa for the first time this past weekend. Since we don’t know anyone here yet, we didn’t have a backup plan if things went wrong—and our pets are truly our children—so their safety and happiness were our top priorities. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed. I was invited to tour the facility and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet it was. At most boarding and daycare places, you hear lots of barking and commotion, but not here. Instead, there was soothing music, TVs for visual stimulation, and every dog I saw looked happy—wagging tails, relaxing on their beds, or enjoying their private patios. We’ve always boarded our pups together because one of them, Newt, has separation anxiety when she’s not with her brother, Samson. The staff took my concerns seriously, asking about food aggression and making sure safety came first, but they also respected my knowledge of my dogs. We agreed that if there was any problem, they’d be separated. I appreciated that balance of caution and flexibility. Our dogs got cuddle time, outside play time, and their own outdoor patio space. We also loved having access to a live camera feed—Samson especially enjoyed the patio! On top of that, we received thoughtful updates letting us know the dogs were doing well, eating, and showing no aggression, so they got to stay together. They even joked, asking if we brought the right dogs since I had been so worried beforehand. Overall, P-K went above and beyond to make us (and our pups) feel comfortable. We felt reassured, supported, and most importantly, we could see how happy our dogs were. We’ll definitely be coming back.

My search for a new groomer for our doggo led me to this wonderful place. We had our first visit last week and it was amazing! Alex did a fantastic job and even let me stay for the whole process which helped me see exactly how he behaves and also help comfort him when he got stressed. I got a tour of their beautiful boarding areas and they have thought of absolutely everything to not only make your pet feel comfortable but you as well because each kennel space has a camera you can access. You can add special treats to your services too...which was a great thing to have our boy get a pup cup once his groom was all done. So grateful to have found this great place! A+++ 🐾👍🥰

I was really impressed by PK Pet Resort & Spa. We left our Golden Retriever puppy for a long weekend and felt that he was in great hands. We received daily updates, he had 1:1 enrichment time, and the owner was very responsive. One of the owners took me on a full tour, answered all of my questions, and showed me exactly where my dog would be staying. I had no doubt that he was in great hands. The facility is clean, spotless, and they give 1:1 attention. We had total peace of mind while we were away, and we will certainly be back!

We had a Wonderful experience boarding our young poodle with P-K! Alex and Christine are both dedicated, well educated Dog People. I couldn't have felt more comfortable leaving my dog in their hands. Beautiful facility!

What a wonderful place which I learned about through Facebook and through a newspaper article at the Post Bulletin. My springer spaniel needed grooming so I decided to give this place a try. I booked the appointment through a combination of their website and a phone call. My appointment went into a "in progress" state until I uploaded veterinarian and vaccination records. Today was grooming day. Alex, part owner and dog lover. groomed my spaniel. I gave her instructions on how I wanted him groomed. She advised me with his hair my instructions would result in a length that would not suit him. She demoed one clipper cut length which would show the problem and then a different clipper shoe that results in a bit shorter hair and a better look. Alex thought it would take ~ two hours for the grooming and that she would text or call when there was 30 minutes until completion. When the call came I headed back to get my dog. He looked wonderful and Alex took the time to explain a problem with two of his toe nails. She also explained that she clipped these nails to rectify the problems. I have to say I really like P-K Pet Resort and highly recommend them for grooming. During the grooming visit today I received a tour of the boarding facility and it is very impressive; so much so that I will board my dogs here also.
