We are OBSESSED with Dogtopia!! The second I say it’s time for “school,” Stacie loses her mind in the best way — full body wiggles, happy spins, the whole production. 🐾 It’s honestly her favorite part of the week. The staff is beyond amazing. Every single person is friendly, welcoming, and you can genuinely tell they love the dogs like their own. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing Stacie isn’t just being supervised — she’s truly cared for and adored while she’s there. And can we talk about pick-up?! They wipe the dogs down before they go home, and Stacie always comes back smelling SO good and feeling fresh. It’s such a thoughtful detail, but it makes such a difference (especially for us dog moms who love a clean cuddle 🥰). I never worry when she’s at Dogtopia — I know she’s safe, happy, and living her absolute best life. 12/10 recommend. If Stacie could leave a review herself, it would be five paws and a standing ovation. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

I had a very upsetting experience at this daycare. I received a call that my dog had been bitten badly enough that a small chunk of his ear was torn off. He required stitches and a $500 vet visit. I understand that dogs can have incidents in group play, but what was most disappointing was how the situation was handled. The call felt nonchalant, and when I arrived, the only resolution offered was a refund for that single day of daycare. When I spoke with management, I expressed that I was now facing a significant vet bill and that I expected some level of accountability beyond simply refunding the day. I was told they “don’t do” anything beyond what they offered, regardless of the severity of the injury. Accidents can happen — but how a business responds when a dog is injured matters. I left feeling that my concerns and my dog’s safety were not treated with the seriousness they deserved. I would encourage pet owners to ask very clear questions about supervision, incident protocols, and what support is provided if a dog is injured in their care.

They have been wonderful with our Nellie. She was pretty shy and a little scared at first, but everybody was so kind and loving with her. It really helped her move past that and be able to participate in play groups. They really go the extra mile and keeping you informed about anything that might happen and watch out for dogs very closely while loving on them and giving them great care. We are so grateful to Dogtopia of Woodmen!

I recommended this franchise for many years, but unfortunately I would now say to stay away. When they first opened in Colorado Springs, I was genuinely excited. I was already familiar with the business model from another state, and our experience in the beginning was wonderful. The staff treated us kindly and often told me my dog was a favorite among several team members. It quickly became his favorite place to go each week. He knew the day he was going and was always so happy to be there. As time went on and they became more crowded, the tone changed. They began suggesting they were overcrowded and that my “energetic” dog, who had previously been described as a favorite, was suddenly acting out. They even claimed he was aggressive toward another dog. I understand how this might sound, but my dog is extremely timid. He hides behind me at the vet when other dogs bark, even when they are much smaller than he is. Hearing that he was aggressive simply did not match the dog I know. What was most upsetting was learning that videos and incidents were presented in a way that did not feel honest or accurate. This situation arose after I could only afford to bring him one day per week, which had never been an issue before. This was heartbreaking because he truly loved going there. I wish the experience had remained what it was in the beginning.

My dog, Dutch, loves Dogtopia! We’ve had nothing but pawsitive (🤣) experiences in the 2 years we’ve been taking him there. Dutch goes to doggy daycare and we’ve also boarded him there. Everyone that I’ve ever interacted with has been great. I absolutely adore the regular folks I see in the morning. I like that he gets to be active during the day and I don’t have to worry about him being there because I know he’s safe and being spoiled. I think it’s great that you offer meet and greets for new dogs that may want to attend daycare and that sometimes you turn folks away. To me that’s important because as an existing member, I know your interests are in keeping the current pups and prospective pups safe and not just accepting all dogs for the added revenue.
