Had a pretty bad experience trying to get my dog a grooming session booked. I have a 17 lb mini aussie long overdue for a haircut due to the cold. I went in to the store and I had a seemingly nice chat with who I believe to be one of the owners this morning. I explained that I live in the area, have a dog who needs immediate and regular grooming and even day care/boarding services, and that I reviewed everything online and found the price ($85 for a dog under 25 lbs) to be perfectly reasonable. About an hour after leaving I received an email from a different employee asking for my dogs immunization records and stating that the price will actually be $119 instead of the quoted $85 due to my dog’s breed being a “high maintenance breed”. Never in 6 years of bi-monthly grooming have I been charged extra for this. I replied and respectfully explained that I’m unable to reconcile the cost increase, am requesting a simple shave for a small, timid dog, and would appreciate having the initial quote honored. The owner then stepped in, denied my request, and essentially challenged me to prove to her that $120 is more expensive than anywhere else in the area. Not once did I say the price was more expensive than other local groomers, simply that I don’t think the extra $34 is justified. Seems to be an ego issue there. I would have been a long time, frequent customer, utilizing multiple services and spending every $ I have on dog care with this place. Instead, I will tell people to steer clear. Not only did this business lose out on a regular, long term value customer, they did reputational damage to their brand over $34. It’s bad business, and I wouldn’t trust people like this with a beloved pet.

Came across this cute and friendly shop/daycare when exploring the area. The staff are extremely sweet. Wish we had the time to let my two puppies experience their service. Will keep this daycare in mind next time coming to town 🐾🥺

My dog Cupid loves it here, every time he passed by he wants to go in. Once he goes in, he won’t leave. Definitely recommended !!

We’ve been bringing our two dogs, Emilio and Rocco, to Pawsome Vita since they opened, and we couldn’t be happier! The team is absolutely wonderful and treats our dogs as if they were their own. Whether it’s a half-day or full-day session, Emilio and Rocco always come back happy and tired, and it’s clear they’re well taken care of. Highly recommend Pawsome Vita for any pet parent!
