Kennelwood Train & Play Kirkwood

My daughter has attended two weeks of per camp at Kennelwood—one last summer and one this winter—and she absolutely loved it. Jenny and her team do an amazing job educating the kids on everything from animal training and basic animal first aid to the many different career paths working with animals. She looks forward to going back every chance she gets, and we couldn’t recommend this camp more highly!

The staff could not be nicer! They ensured Riley was comfortable and I felt she was well taken care of. They even sent me this cute photos after her bath!

Brittany is the best! My rescue dog Riley is a 1.5 blind husky and I was struggling with training her. She did the 3 week program with Brittany and is a different dog from when she started! My goal of instilling discipline in her was definitely reached. She is so excited to go see Brittany and the rest of her Kennelwood friends every day that she hangs out the window smiling the whole drive there. Highly recommend, especially if you have a special needs dog and aren’t sure of where to go!

We love kennelwood! Rory did the three week train and play over 5 weeks, even after one week she had really improved and had learned some manners. Kathryn was great at teaching us what Rory learns, when we go in public people always comment on how polite and well trained she is. Plus it’s awesome Rory gets to interact with other dogs and have fun while I’m at work. The staff is kind and helpful, I can’t recommend Kennelwood enough!

We LOVE Kennelwood!! We have had the best experience with our puppy Oliver. He did the 3 week daycare training program. It was so worth it for us. Our trainer, Kathryn, has been amazing and was able to spend the time laying his framework training. At the end of a training week, we would have a “human lesson” where we were taught everything he learned that week so we could follow up with the training at home. I am blown away at how much he has learned in 3 short weeks! Could not recommend Kennelwood Kirkwood & Kathryn enough!
