Ruffgers Dog University - Naples Dog Training & Boarding

I boarded Oliver at Ruffgers in the past. It was great. This time, I packed 10 individual bags of his food for an 8 day stay. I called my Granddaughter to check on him 1/2 way thru. He was fine, but needed food.?!? My granddaughter picked him up and while leaving they mentioned that there was kennel cough?!?! Just mentioned… walking out?!! I came home to a pup who was bedraggled, lost weight and honking like a goose. It’s 2 weeks now and thru the coughing, bloody stools and vet visit. He’s finally himself. I don’t know what happened to Ruffgers, but I wouldn’t board a cockroach there.

We had our 2 year old lab in for a two night stay, our first experience with Ruffgers Bonita Springs location. A few days afterwards our dog became sick and after taking to our vet and over $1200 in testing/scans it was determined that she had kennel cough. She had been vaccinated, which Ruffgers mandates and when we called the facility to report, they dismissed it and said they clean every day so it could not have happened there etc..This was the only place our dog had been exposed to others so pretty confident it is where she got sick. Needless to say, we are not happy and the two day visit cost us a lot more than we ever expected.

We love sending our Westie, Findlay to Ruffgers. These photos were sent to us while we boarded Finn for the first time. He had so much fun playing with the other pups and I haven't ever seen him smile this big. The staff is friendly and I always feel that my furry bestie is taken care of. Thank you, Ruffgers!

I have been waiting months to cool down before writing a review, but the way that I was treated still bothers me everyday. I had been going to Ruffgers since 2009 when I moved here with my pug. I have referred several customers throughout the years, including my mom and sister. About a year and a half ago, I got a new pug. I had been paying for agility training, however Charlie was gaining weight. Unbeknownst to me, Charlie had been booted from agility training for not mastering one command. They were feeding her multiple treats a day without telling me. She never made it back to agility training. I decided to let her package run out, and. I wrote a long email explaining why. I never received a response. Instead, I only got cancellation emails for her reservations. After being a loyal customer for 14 years, I expected more. Very, very poor customer service. The silver lining is that I found a new day care with better prices, better hours, and they love my pug there! They took the weight right off of her, and she is exhausted when I pick her up. They offer many more services, and are so kind. Charlie loves it there! I am not one to write reviews, however I have been sitting on this for a very long time. There are other options!

I have been bringing my dog Belle to Ruffgers Naples for the past two months, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I booked for our first daycare visit, the entire experience has been smooth, welcoming, and professional. The team is absolutely amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do. The training sessions have truly strengthened the bond between me and Belle. It is truly a peace of mind when I have to go out of town I know Belle is in great hands. A truly outstanding team - thank you
