Alpha Valley Boarding Kennel

We have been taking our dogs here for boarding for almost a year now. We have two large and very excitable dogs and they do an amazing job with them. They are consistently kind and professional and I can genuinely tell my dogs enjoy seeing the staff. Additionally their website is really easy to navigate and reserving spots for boarding is simple and we always get quick confirmations from staff. I highly recommend them and trust them to care for our dogs.

PLEASE DO NOT BOARD YOUR ANIMAL HERE! Let's just say I had to get the Sheriff Dept, Jackson County Animal Services, and then the Deputy District Attorney involved. I won't go in to detail other than if you doubt this review, just check with how many complaints/citations they've gotten from Jackson County Animal Services. Come to find out, IT'S ALL PUBLIC. This place should be and probably is on the verge of being shut down. **** in response to the reply, I have court documents and proof of restitution.

Very kind people, very happy dogs. I didnt end up using them personally for context. Call and talk to them to ask what you need and what they can provide. **response to the business since google reviews doesnt allow comments** No issue, I just chose alternative for a couple reasons. I am beyond upset. Husband and I took a vacation for five days, called to check in on my husky border collie mix 1 year old male and was told that he adjusted well and was playing with other dogs beings we paid the extra for it. My dog eats dry kibble during the day and wet food at night. I sent dry kibble and seven packets of wet food for the evening and not one wet food was touched. My dog was covered in urine and feces, when I picked him up. My dog is not a shy dog, he is a puppy and has some behavioral problems. As far as getting in the trash and Being a menace. I picked him up on Friday. It is now Sunday. He is not okay, he is not the dog I dropped off. I noticed it as soon as I picked him up. His breathing is hoarse and has green goop coming out of his eyes. Mind you he has all of his shots and has never been sick in our care. His gums were white! White?? Thats beyond dehydration!! He was stumbling around when we brought him home and is still lethargic. He is very scared of everything which is very concerning. We dropped him off as a very confident dog. I even looked at my husband and said, is this our dog? I took into consideration that maybe it's kennel cough, but my dogs symptoms were worse than that. Would never recommend this place. My dog is messed up from this. Also communication absolutely sucks. As soon as I picked my dog up nobody would answer the phone. They picked up right away when I was on my way to pick him up but absolutely nothing after I had him. I read the reviews before boarding and it was hit or miss. All the complaints had the company giving some excuses. Its crazy that the bad reviews are a pattern though.

A holiday Haven for our German Shepherds! We left our two GSDs' over Christmas, and I cannot express how incredibly grateful we are for the care, love, and attention they received. Leaving our dogs over the holidays was a tough decision, but from the moment we dropped them off, we knew they were in the best hands possible. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals. They took the time to understand each dog's personality, preferences, and needs- and it showed. We received regular updates that gave us such peace of mind and let us truly enjoy our time away. Our dogs came home happy, healthy, and well-exercised. It was obvious they had been engaged and cared for-not just supervised. Their coats were shiny, their energy was great, and they even seemed a little disappointed to be leaving their holiday "vacation spot." A huge thank you to the folks at Alpha Valley Boarding kennel for treating our dogs like family. You made our Christmas worry-free, and we will absolutely be returning. If your looking for a place that goes above and beyond for your pets, look no further. Highly, highly recommend.
