We’ve been bringing our dog Jodi since she was a puppy and this is hands down her favorite place in the world. We do daycare and boarding and I can’t tell you the peace of mind we have when our dog is with Mary Ellen. Our pup is always in good hands. Wag along - what would we do without you!!??

We’ve been bringing our dog, Bear, here for years and have nothing but good things to say. Mary Ellen is kind and compassionate and takes excellent care of the pups. Pick ups and drop offs are quick and easy. There is both a large outdoor space where they can run and play as well as a kennel where they can rest. Bear clearly feels at home there. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for daycare or boarding for their dog(s).

Wag Along Pet Care with Mary Ellen is the BEST thing to happen to lives of my pups. I have been bringing one of my dogs there since he was a puppy (4+ years) and Mary Ellen has been such a monumental part of his well-being. Without her, it would have been nearly impossible to give my dog the amazing life and care he has while I work full-time. She goes above and beyond just taking care of these pups during their time at daycare. She has checked in on numerous occasions if they've been sick to see how they're doing and has been so helpful and flexible when we've gone on trips. She brings out the pool in the summer and has dressed our dogs up on holidays for a laugh. We have a mini Dachshund and a lab Shar Pei mix that we bring weekly and both dogs are absolutely THRILLED to go each time we bring them. When I say, "Daycare tomorrow with Mary Ellen," they both will pop up from whatever they're doing, turn their heads, start wagging their tails, and give these ridiculously absurd cheesy smiles that just speak joy. I saw one of the other reviews that said, "Wag along daycare is one of the best kept secrets in Portland," and I HIGHLY agree! I would recommend time and time again!

Wag Along is the best! My lab lives to play and when we are away we know she is happy with her friends and loved by Mary Ellen. We also get updates with videos or pictures to let us know she is having fun. Echo also hangs at doggy day care once or twice a week. They are so flexible! We have been trusting Wag Along with our dog since she was a little puppy!

Mary Ellen is wonderful and takes such good care of the dogs here. Our dog, Roki, has been going here since we got him in 2021 and he absolutely adores her. He's always excited to go and is always tuckered when he comes home. Her rates are very reasonable and she is very responsive. We'll be so sad to be leaving her when we move in a couple of months, but highly highly recommend anyone in need of doggy daycare to reach out to her!
