Sunset Seniors Dog Daycare

I am so happy to have found Sunset Seniors. Amanda and her crew are thoughtful and flexible. They always go the extra mile and truly care about the dogs they watch. They also do pick up and drop off, which is so convenient. I would highly recommend them!

We have a very anxious, shy, 14 year old, 13 lb pup who takes a long time to warm up to people. It was very challenging to find someone who was willing to dogsit, as our dog would not allow strangers to approach at all. Despite these challenges, Amanda worked with us and did multiple sessions to get our dog feeling safe! We made progress after every session and now our dog feels comfortable enough to follow Amanda around and ask for treats! Such a huge improvement! Amanda is also very professional and has been wonderful with coordinating logistics. We are so thankful to have found her!

Amanda was full for the holidays, but she went out of her way to point me in the right direction to find another sitter who could watch my dog. She very clearly loves the dogs dearly, and I would trust her with my senior dog in a heartbeat.

Our small 12lbs dog is afraid them big ones. We tried a different daycare where the largest dogs are 50lbs goldens, but found our dog hiding between two sofas when we picked her up. Apparently, that's where she stood the entire day. Sunset Seniors had the perfect environment for our shaky pup. Their four-footed clientele tend to be smaller or older. We could see that our usually timid dog was at ease, happy, and interested in gentle play. The dogs had full access through the house from the front living room to the rear rooms and nice backyard. Amanda and Kathy are constantly monitoring, so that someone is always in the room watching them wherever they go. We used their daycare service as well as 10 days of boarding in July. We appreciate how Amanda keeps us posted through text and Instagram pics. You can tell they understand and truly love dogs. They were great to our little fur baby... And she got to socialize and make doggie friends, who were her speed. Sunset Senior Dog Daycare is the best for our pup!
