(from Google)Sorry. but this beach is now part of private property and not open to the public. Sad, it looked like it was a nice beach.
The beach seems to be closed. There is now a home with a gate posted private property where the beach once was.
Great place in HSV for the Family.
It's a haven of serenity and breathtaking beauty. Summer, kids and grandchildren and a great family beach are the ingredients for fun and lifelong memories. School is suddenly back and the 'regulars' are a new and interesting mix. Life's great at the beach and I keep it simple at DeSoto and Cortez where, before you know it, you're enjoying your new friends, those who are delightfully unanticipated surprises.
Great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery! The beach and water are very clean. Lots of pebbles instead of sand. Wear water shoes or sandals if you don't want to walk on the stones. Several picnic tables and benches, as well as a grill and restrooms. Parking is sufficient. The beach is located in a housing area, so drive slow and responsibly. Have fun!
