(from Google)We discovered a lovely and serene beach in North Lake Tahoe. The water is very clean and shallow. Suitable for kids.
We really liked this beach and so did our dog. Access is from the Tahoe East Shore trail and is about a mile walk from the parking area. We went mid-week in late August and the weather was perfect and while the parking area was full we were able to find a spot along the road. The walk along East Shore trail is very nice with great lake views. The beach itself is relatively small, but we were lucky to find a spot at one end with some shade. The water is a spectacular turquoise here and the views across the lake are awesome as well.
My favorite place to visit in Tahoe. Parking is a bit of a wait but so worth it. Paved trail, dog family-kid friendly. There are restrooms and the sight/views are Beautiful.
Some excellent beach views here. Easily accessible while walking the tunnel trail. Enough space that it’s not super crowded. Easy access to the water, and not usually a ton of boats around so you can swim, paddle and float in peace. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Our favourite little beach, clear water, giant rocks to climb. Easiest to park at incline village and walk back, the parking lot near the beach is a confusing nightmare. Not really barefoot sand and the toilets are pretty gross but we spent an hour there on a 45F day in early May. Beautiful.
