I absolutely love going to Dog Leg Woods Dog Park with Buster. One of the best things about this park is that it’s divided into two separate areas—one for small dogs and one for larger dogs—which helps keep playtime safe and comfortable for everyone. That said, depending on who’s there, some owners do choose to let their dogs interact across the sections, and it’s usually very well managed. The park is also really well equipped. There are multiple water fountains available for both dogs and people, which is a huge plus on hot Florida days. There are plenty of benches throughout so you can sit, relax, and still keep an eye on your pup while they run and play. The open space is large and gives the dogs a lot of room to roam, sniff, and burn off energy. They also have a dog wash-off area, which is such a nice bonus—especially since I know my Buster loves rolling in the dirt. The only small downside is that the walk from the parking lot to the actual dog park entrance is a bit long. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of if you’re carrying supplies or have an excited dog pulling ahead. Overall, it’s a great spot and Buster and I really enjoy our time there. Definitely one of our regular go-to places.

This dog park is huge for the large dogs and we loved the shade from the many trees. The water fountain for the dogs worked as well and we were very pleased! I would definitely come back to this dog park again. All the dogs had a wonderful time!

AMAZING dog park. When I say expansive, I mean that this park (especially for the bigger pups) is ENORMOUS. Covered with tall oaks it gives the right amount of shade coverage. Ample seating for the humans, poop bags available if you happen to forget yours. Theres always a random tennis ball or Frisbee left behind for everyone to share. And if THAT isnt enough to convince you to try, we've met some AMAZING people there who TRULY are a community. They know each others' dogs on first name basis, even when their humans are on vacation. These reasons ALONE bring us back. Not to mention its right next to a golf course, which is always entertaining to watch. Give it a try!!! You will not be disappointed. Parking lot is adjacent to entrance, you'll have to leash your pup and walk to the park. WORTH IT.

There is a lot of room for the dogs to roam. A small climbing platform. We went right after working hours and there were a LOT of dogs in the park. All were social and well behaved. There is separated sections for small and large dogs.

We lived our first visit here. Was truly surprised by the size and cleanliness of the park. We were on the large dog side and met several friendly dogs and owners. I was happy to see both the poop stations and the water fountains for dogs and people. They also had plenty of benches and trash receptacles.
