(from Google)La Piedra Beach is one of Malibu’s most beautiful and underrated stretches of coastline. Tucked between El Matador and El Pescador, it has the same dramatic rock formations and crystal-clear water — but with far fewer crowds. It’s the perfect spot for photos, quiet walks, and enjoying the natural side of Malibu. As a local real estate agent who lives and works in the area, I always appreciate finding those places that feel like “true Malibu.” La Piedra is definitely one of them. Parking is easier here than at the neighboring beaches, and the views are spectacular at any time of day. Highly recommend if you’re looking for one of Malibu’s most peaceful beaches.
Nice beach spot, parking is cheap compare to others beach along the coast. a little bit of walk to go down the beach, and the terrain is a bit steep on some section. So be careful with kids or if you have a lot to carry. But, the trail is well maintain and clean. It was a good time. enough space on the beach, not too crowded.
An often overlooked beach just north of trancas Canyon shopping center. So all along the SoCal Coast they took out one possibly two mega Mansions to allow the public to have the view. Nice flat parking lot decent porta potty and a short little hike down to the beach provides gorgeous views
I loved it!!!!!! It was a slightly steep slope before reaching the beach. Then there was a natural shack. I sometimes really think what if no need to worry about living, eating to survive, and distance. I wanna keep walking to every corner of the world.
Low tide is best for walking or hanging out at this beach. Great overlooking views. You can park on PCH if the lot is full or don't want to pay. Look for one of the three picnic benches at the top for a nice view while you eat. Path way is not maintained and steeper than average so pack light. Pro-tip: during low tide (
