Visited in early August. The park is beautiful, big, clean, nice facilities. The beach is small, but nice, but the water was gross! We ended up leaving pretty quickly. There was a couple dead fish near the beach and the water looked like a kale juice. It might be nicer earlier in the season.
Clean sandy beach with cool bike trails.
Our go-to beach for the family! We love it. Nice sand, big umbrellas, not too busy!
Very good beach for swimming, cookouts, and I would imagine boating. Was never too busy when I was there. Good clean bathrooms that aren't locked up all the time. Dog friendly. Lots of seaweed in some parts of the beach though.
