great little beach hidden away lots of pups off leash just a nice beach!
Beautiful sandy beach that run for not quite 7 miles! This public beach goes all the way from the base of Neahkahnie Mountain on the north end,and goes all the way to the south end, where it ends at the north jetty that protects the mouth of Nehalem Bay, just before you reach the town of Rockaway. Perfect for kite flying, beach combing, shell gathering and picnics while roasting S'mores over bon fires in the evenings.
I just had to Google beach access & it took me right to it. Beautiful open sand beach with capes and headlands. Beautiful wave action. The Pacific is very active this time of year. I did find a couple of unbroken sand dollars…score🫶🏼 so many photo ops. The clouds were spectacular.
Love this beach. Big waves (someyimes surfers) on the north end, beautiful views, soft sand and a few tide pools to explore among the rocks at the north end. Not crowded like Cannon Beach.
