(from Google)This is a great beach and perfect shark tooth hunting spot. You must have access to base to get to this beach so crowds are minimal and parking is plentiful. Great views and lots of pretty seashells!
Our favorite beach in the area! The grands enjoy splashing in the waves and I love searching for shark teeth - we spend hours here relaxing and playing.
The beach was very clean. Shells were everywhere and so many shark teeth. I even found this amazing large one. I was so excited. I love the fact that there is a special section you can take your dogs to. It is a very beautiful area.
I love Onslow Beach. Back to nature. Not built up and nasty. You have all you need here with the three S. Sand, sun and sea. Amenities enough to be comfortable. Peaceful without gnarly traffic and noise.
Bathrooms, showers, picnic tables - a dog friendly beach area further down. Must have a military id to access - great finds & lovely beach.
