This Has always Been one of My Favorite Beaches to come to... Long Bike Trails Multiple Piers to visit. Fire pits for Bond Fire- Wide Clean Beaches, plenty of Space for the entire Family, it never Feels Over crowded even when it's Packed... One Complaint I hear people Tell me is the Airplanes, but I actually like the Planes passing by... to each thier Own.

I would not go to Dockweiler to sunbathe, there are other places for that. It is also not a place to surf. It is okay to swim in. What is great about it, is the fire pits. There are very few beaches in Los Angeles that have this feature and they have plenty and they are well spaced. It is great for a social or family event. People have Birthday parties there and groups have events there. We were there for a group event and it was great. Parking is for a fee and it is not cheap. The beach is kept clean and it is well patrolled. The bike path runs though it and it is a nice ride. It is safe and very pretty. You can bring your own food and grill. It is super fun. Some have tables, some do not. The crowd there is nice and locals and tourists all go there. We had not been in a long time, but we will be back.

Had the most incredible views! The sunset was breathtaking and the sand was so hot! I liked how it wasn't too busy. The planes taking off every few mins was very annoying and ruined the vibe so you can really just tune everything out and listen to the waves. They had firepits that made for a great bonfire in the evening but better to claim them early especially on the weekend. We stayed in the RV park right across and has access to surprisingly very clean bathrooms.

Sand is almost as white as what I’m used to in Florida and the waves are spectacular. And you can see mountains and the ocean here simultaneously. Definitely can’t do that in Florida

Wow ! Nice bike & running trail. I biked and loved that entire route. I went from end of the beach area alllllll the way to Venice Beach. Choose your bike rental wisely their are some cheap ones and then pricey ones. I paid a pretty penny but, no complaints my bike was comfy and I did not feel I overpaid. I say this cause I was approached by a person using a different company and when I told them what I paid they were taken a back. They paid $25 I paid $95 plus tax. Big difference!
