(from Google)A stunning beach that feels like a little discovery. The access involves hiking down the rocks, which makes arriving that much more rewarding. Once there, I had the entire place to myself—quiet, secluded, and peaceful in the best way. Spent the morning exploring, finding unique shells, and soaking in the feeling of being somewhere untouched. An adventurous and memorable way to start the day.
Portuguese Beach is a great stop along Highway 1 to enjoy classic Pacific Ocean views. The cliffs and wide open coastline are beautiful, and we were lucky to spot pelicans and even a seal resting on the rocks. There’s plenty of parking, which makes it an easy and stress-free stop during a road trip.
Really pretty sunset. Too bad my phone died. Nice to just kick back and watch the waves and have a snack. It was a bit windy but I expected that due to the weather report so I was very well prepared.. Decent size Beach to roam around on All the people were pleasant.. enough parking for my vehicle and attached trailer.. Will definitely venture back and visit again
Brought my pit bull here for a nice day at the beach with free parking and friendly people. Beautiful views and plenty of friendly dog owners. I don’t know if the park is a true off leash park but appreciate that everyone there seemed to respect the code that if your dog isn’t good at voice command keep them on the leash. Can’t wait to go back
This beach was awesome. A bit cold but nice, warm sand on my feet. The water was cold but not too cold. I really enjoyed it here. I wanna come back with my dog. There weren't too many people on a Friday around 4pm. A relaxing place to be. There was also a bathroom.
