Seaside Beach Oregon

If you have never been to the ocean or the coast, this is a MUST STOP. Even on a cool windy day it was lovely.

Went on 01/14/2026, it was a chilly day with light wind. Visiting family and just wanted to go to the beach. It was very low tide during our time there. On Broadway there is a shopping district. Also there is a Statue in honor of the end of the Lewis & Clark Trail

The town is way more touristy than I remember, but still makes for a fun little getaway. We went on a Sunday and had no trouble finding street parking, which was a nice surprise. Wandered around the shops for a bit before heading down to the beach. The beach itself is beautiful and so wide — incredibly windy when we visited, but still amazing. Walking through the tall grasses along the shoreline was surprisingly fun and peaceful - got some great shots. I’ll definitely have to come back and experience it again in the summer months!

Seaside Beach is a beautiful and relaxing spot on the Oregon coast. The beach is wide, clean, and perfect for walking, playing, or just enjoying the ocean breeze. The promenade adds a fun touch, you can stroll along it, enjoy the views, and stop at nearby shops and restaurants. It’s a great place for families, couples, or anyone who wants a peaceful day by the water. It's a wonderful place to visit

I love seaside! Been going to here for serval years now many times each year. I live in Vancouver Washington so this is my close cheap vacation spot for going to the beach and coast. I do love it though, I can just walk on the beach for hours. Lots of coast line to walk south or north. The city line in the background looks amazing and I love mountains to the south that you can see. You can sometimes find good sand dollars at the airport right time too and I’ve seen jellyfish on the beach. Like any other coastline too the sunset is a must if you’re staying here or around for the time that it sets! Along with the sunrise as well. The morning tides are really nice to watch and listen to as well. Lots of hotels right on or near the beach to watch as well. The city of seaside also offers a ton of fun activities, good food, and good snack food. Overall amazing beach and coast city!
