(from Google)It's definitely not a public beach because you have to pay to get on there. Other than that, it was beautiful. And we had a great time.
Love this beach. It's the surfing beach I used to surf at when I was younger. It was also the one with the sideways parking where the toll machines stopped. Now the toll spot starts near 4200 or something like that. Disappointing how the locals now have to pay year round to just shell or driftwood collect. Last time I was there was to see the storm surge of Hurricane Erin, 500 miles offshore.
Any street in seaside park is a nice spot to park and walk up onto the beach. I just parked in a random spot and walked towards the ocean. The weather was absolutely beautiful so it was perfect for taking pictures which is something I loveee doing. The ocean in the off season is the best. I haven't gone over the bridge in the summer. The last time I did that was in my early 20s..if I were to go in season then I would go and scope out a good spot. 👍
Very clean. Good lifeguard presence. Nice way to spend a day relaxing or playing with the kids in the waves.
Nice clean beach. Family atmosphere. The water actually has some blue hues to it. It may not be like Miami Beach water , but the Jersey shore has come a hell of a long way from the greenish brown water I grew up with. We couldn't see our toes In ankle deep water then, now it's clean and all but clear.
