Trinidad State Beach

Beautiful views. Easy terrain, access and parking. The little and bog rocks everywhere in the water is delightful. Sand is soft and grey blackish which doesnt show that well in my picture bc it was early daylight when I visited.

Riding my bike from 11th Street in Arcata do college cove taking pictures

I used to walk my dog here a couple times a week. The mixture of having a parking lot easily accessible and the perfect view of the sunset makes it an easy choice. There are tons of starfish but not so many sand dollars. The beach ends at a natural arch and features a rock we call grandmother rock because it looks like a woman seated by the ocean. Nice spot for less mobile folks as it is a easy walk, but do be mindful of the tides.
