(from Google)This hidden sand dune is in Wahweap Bay. Depending on the water level you may be able to drive right up to it. There are some ants in the sand. It’s a good work out climbing to the top. It’s fun to run down as long as you don’t fall and end up rolling down.
Wow... just Wow. Excellent facilities for boating and beautiful to walk and look in amazement at the surroundings.
Just an amazing place to take a boat ride. So much to see you will need 3 months to take it all in!
Wahweep bay is deeper and nicer now than the previous several years..... beautiful! Wahweep Marina has also been improved as well. Restaurants are nicer, walkways are wider and nicer.... it just keeps getting better.
Lake Powell is one of the most beautiful lakes around, and Lone Rock is a great place to camp just make sure you have 4-wheel drive because the sand is like powder but you can camp right at the lake
