(from Google)Nice little swim beach with playground and bathrooms. They even have a water pump to rinse off with.
Quiet, lakefront beach. Trees, covered picnic tables, and playground next to parking. No shade on beach (but it's a beach--grandma can sit in the shade at the picnic area). Nice lakefront to explore. Sandy at swimming area, can get muddy further into lake and around parts of shore. Beautiful at sunset.
Very nice facilities. But, right now, the lake is very low. Water is not even waist deep.
Tons of fun! Kids had a blast playing in the water! Nice little swimming area!!
The beach is clean and the sand goes quite a bit into the water. It's great for young kids to swim as it's shallow quite a ways out into the water. The sign says that there is a charge for swimming but when looking at the envelopes to pay, if you are camping at any of the campgrounds it is free. It can get really hot if you do not have some type of canopy. If you're looking for wheelchair access, there is a sidewalk that runs from the parking lot down the center of the beach into the water. There is a water spigot to clean off the sand as you leave.
