Rented the beach house cabin for a week, kitchen sink water hoses leaked and had to be shut off on arrival. We had to wash dishes in the bathroom for the whole week. No maintenance on duty, Cockroaches infested the cabin. Deck feels like you may fall through. Lamp in bedroom had exposed wires, shade was held on with clothes pins. Couch is very uncomfortable and covered in what I hope is water stains. Beach is overgrown with weeds, property hasn't been mowed, weeds were up to knees. Playground has very little mulch. Washer /dryer in laundry room reek of mold/mildew. Not much good to say about the place. We tried to move to another cabin, but were told none were available that would fit a party of our size.

Unfortunately this park is not maintained anymore. Grass is usually not mowed, and pool is too dirty to swim safely. Pool pictures are from Tuesday, the day after the pool was closed for cleaning/chemicals. Updated to include the current grass situation. Hasn't been mowed in about 3 weeks as of June 6, and is now taller then the dogs. This was the case all last summer too. First 2 pictures of the grass are near the pool and playground, busiest area for the kids to play.

We have been coming to this park for 4 years and there have been many upgrades. We love the new campsites, and updated roads. It’s a peaceful place and we always enjoy it. There are many people who live here full time, cottages and campers. It’s on Lake Conroe complete with a mini marina and launch. There is a lovely covered space for picnics and playgrounds/pool. Would benefit the campground to update the remaining campsites and roads. All in all a great place to stay!

Located right on the lake with the boat ramp. Only 10 minutes away from Conroe. A lot of different options of the RV spots, from paved to grass, back in, pull through, 50/30 amps. Most leveled, and all have sewer connections. Some roads are paved some are not. Facilities are very well kept, clean and accessible. Friendly and helpful staff. Verizon and T Mobile services are good. Dog park, pool, jacuzzi, mini golf and many more amenities, and did I mention the lake! We had a great time here despite the cold weather.

This is a first come-first serve Thousand Trails and it seems to be very full most of the time. We ended up in a site where the RVs are very close together, so it was less than ideal. In general, the park is very nice with lots of great amenities. Beautiful lake with easy access, nice places to walk as well. They do not seem to enforce any kind of leash rule or limit on the number of pets, so that is something to watch for when you're walking your dog on a leash.
