A nice beach for sunbathing and picnicing. Do arrive early to get parking and picnic tabke! Parking fee is $12. You can park outside the park for free along the street and walk to the beach.

Absolutely beautiful public beach with plenty of parking, multiple bathrooms, and tons of room on the beach. The surroundings are stunning. It cost $12 to park but the pass lasts the entire day, so you can leave and return without needing to pay again. Highly recommend this beach.

Nevada beach, on the shores of Lake Tahoe is a great spot to relax. Awesome scenic beauty and peaceful spring time. The mountains, lake and the nature performs a good blend. Nice spot to relax, click some pictures and roam around.

I dropped by Nevada Beach on the shores of Lake Tahoe. It was a warm winter sunny weekend. There were folks scattered about the beach enjoying the day. But a far cry from the summer beach population. The beach is sandy and stretches half a mile. The pebbly sand made a soft crunching noise as I walked on it. The waves gently lapped against the shore making a calming sound, the kind you hear on mediation apps. I didn't stay for sunset, but could imagine it would be a beaut. I walked here from the Lam Watah trail. But you can drive here, there is a paved parking lot with a day use fee. I think it's $12. I saw folks park along the street which I believe is free. Another important tidbit is that during the winter, the concession stand, kayak rentals, and restrooms are closed plus there is no trash service. It's requested that folks pack out their own garbage. Regarding the need to use a restroom, I suppose one could walk across the street to find a discreet spot in the grove.

I love this beach! It’s very peaceful and beautiful. I’ve never been here on a busy day or during peak season, so I’m not sure what it’s like then, but on a random day like today, it’s perfect!
