The Trailhead Store

Called the trailheadstore to see if it's open and the phone hung up. Came for a cars and coffee for nought. Not from this area, there were no signs and I was looking forward to coffee and some food. Event needed better coordination and we have no clue where the coffee shop is actually at. Drove right back to Charlotte.

The Trailhead Store is quaint and comfortable. The coffee is very good and the food offerings are tastier than expected. Our server was friendly and sweet. We took some time on a cold winter day to warm up and relax upstairs.

Cute facility, and the coffee was good. London fog tea tasted oddly like soap, ended up pouring it out.

This is a fairly new addition we've been coming to the gardens for about 12 years and I was rather surprised at how cute it was. There are some sandwiches and light Foods ,coffee wine , water with nice little ample seating area. It had very quaint atmosphere I would highly suggest stopping there. It at the front of the gardens as you pull in so you may miss it. I think they need to make a bigger effort pointing people in that direction. We only discovered it on our way out near their closing time had I been aware I probably would have stopped there first.

Such a beautiful quaint location. Surrounded by nature, walking trail, tree lined landscape allows one to sip, relax, and enjoy nature.
