Coconut Jack's Waterfront Grille

This is my third visit as I'm from England and can only come when on vacation. This is my favourite restaurant in Bonita. All of our servers were so helpful especially Tyler who recommended the grouper bites as a starter which we shared. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my friend had chicken Mango Bango. Tyler then suggested the Coconut creme pie which was sublime. All of the staff were lovely special mention for Eric and Tyler. Beautiful location overlooking the lagoon. Great value as happy hour drinks are quite a lot cheaper. We also met the owner who was a lovely lady.

Late April 2026 lunch stop, we had Mahi Mahi tacos with rice and beans, calamari appetizer, and some cold drinks. There is a valet to meet you as soon as you pull in, let them park you. There are also 4 boat slips to slide into from the water. The food was great, the service was great. Nice views, they have outdoor (in the sun) seating next to the boat slips and a large tiki style hut to sit under but still outside and viewing the water. There's a small gift shop wall upon entry/exit. Overall, everything was great although our bill was a little high for lunch, it was still a nice treat.

Incredible water front grille with lovely views, delicious fresh seafood and a fun gift shop of clothing, stuffed animals, books and other souvenirs!! We had dinner here - no reservation needed and loved the complimentary valet parking. Things were picking up when we arrived at 5pm for an earlier dinner but we had no problem getting a table. The seafood options were amazing with local catches and favorites like the grouper sandwich and coconut shrimp (pictured here). They also had a very nice tropical drink menu. Great spot to come for a fun family dinner!!!

I really like this place. The food was great. I had a grouper fish special that was cooked to perfection. The grouper was excellent, a nice, thick cut. My son had the burger, which is supposedly the best, and he gave it a 7 out of 10. It was a good-looking burger. Let me tell you, they have valet, so parking isn't an issue. We were able to get in without a reservation. We did have to sit inside, couldn't sit outside, but that was fine.

Recently ate here between Christmas and New Year's for lunch. It was super busy bc of the time of year but seating moved along quickly at noon time. The staff were friendly and offered recommendations. The food came out in an appropriate amount of time for the amount of people in the restaurant. The coconut shrimp are good and a regular choice when I come here. I would personally prefer different dipping sauce than the one provided, something more orange pineapple marmalade coconut. Something I would note, as we sat in the high tops in the front store area of the restaurant, I would highly encourage staff to watch these items more and verbally discourage everyone from touching everything they aren't purchasing. Flu A is very high in the area and we watched countless sick customers touching items they didn't purchase and then putting them back including small children who put stuffed animals in their mouths and then they didn't buy them and placed them back in the piles. Also I would encourage staff to offer cash back to customers when paying their bill or to be able to add a car valet tip to the bill. We stood outside with several families who had no cash when they went to get their cars after eating and parking staff were asking if people tipped the guy they requested their car from if they weren't handing the person who brought it up any money. Overall it's a good stop for food and will be by again.
