Nick's on State

We came here for a Valentine’s Day dinner and we were very impressed. The cocktails and environment are amazing. The chicken sandwich was just okay but the meatloaf and deviled eggs were amazing.

Nicks was a 10/10 dining experience. Between the food, service, and atmosphere we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the spinach and artichoke appetizer that was delicious. My grandmother’s both ordered the bistro plate that was cooked perfectly paired with filling sides. I ordered the prime rib dip that was mouth watering and also very filling, even the fries were hot and crispy. Our server Ava was friendly and attentive. Overall we had a great experience and will be back.

We had an amazing dinner with two other couples. Everybody’s dishes and cocktails were perfect! Cody was an amazing waiter making sure our one nut allergy guest was well taken care of for the night. I highly recommend this restaurant when in Carlsbad!

Amazing restaurant great service great ambiance great food I ordered the fried chicken with gravy mashed potatoes and a biscuit chicken was sooo good cooked an seasoned perfectly mashed potatoes delicious biscuit was great just a really good meal also ordered the steak also very good definitely try this restaurant

Fabulous place! Excellent Service! Great food! My husband has been here before, but this was my first time. The ambiance was beautiful inside or outside. We sat outside and the heaters were the perfect temperature. We got the spinach dip, which was so good, for entrées we got the baby back ribs,which were huge, and sea bass, perfect pint of food. Our server Gracie, was so attentive! Water always filled, specials were mentioned. HIGHLY recommend
