Shady's Corner

I've been to Shady's a couple times and I've enjoyed each visit greatly. The staff was nice and took my drink order quickly. Everything my friends and I ordered from the food truck was delicious! Music and environment vibes were 10/10

Genuinely could have been a good bar. We came from out of town. Was having a decent night. It was a Thursday so maybe 20 people in the entire bar. From out of town so didn’t complain. We respect the bartenders and bars so understand the situation. The problem came when at 1:15am (maybe earlier than that just a generous time) they said last call. The bar closes at 2:00(which is 100% fair). 5 minutes later not even 1:20 they say completely closes within 5 minutes you have to leave. After multiple people have bought full pitchers/drinks etc l after everyone was told and expected to be able to stay for the next 45 minutes. The bartenders were obviously ready to leave. Acted like 10 people were too much to handle for doing their “job” after telling the whole bar they had 45 minutes. By 1:30. Within 15 minutes the bar manager was so ready to leave she told everyone they had to get out they weren’t allowed to finish the alcohol they purchased within 15 minutes. Wasn’t an option at this point. She was in a bad mood. Even after tipping $50. Needless to say. Someone watched someone walk out front (not leaving the premises ) with the pitched they had 15 minutes to drink. Calls the cops and reports trespassing and theft and tried to get the guy throw in jail. Please be careful if you come to this bar. It’s poor management and needs a more realistic and responsible person in charge.

Had a great time, will definitely be coming back. Especially if Archer is working again; he’s probably the coolest bartender I’ve ever interacted with. His hair is so cool and he’s so nonchalant about it. He’s really funny and when I was telling him about how i went bankrupt he was very considerate. This is probably the first bartender that actually has listened to all my woes; and even pinky promised me he’ll remember my usual drink (upside down vodka redbull). 🔥

My friends and I had the best time thanks to Kaitlyn! She was absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and knew exactly how to make each of our drinks perfectly. She made the whole atmosphere fun and welcoming, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. We’ve all agreed she’s hands down the best bartender we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back just to see her again! 🍸💖

Had a really good meatball sub — hot, flavorful, and satisfying. The hot cheeses were a great addition and added the perfect kick. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be a regular spot for me. Friendly service and a cozy, casual vibe made it an easy place to enjoy a meal. Would happily come back next time I'm in town.
