Absolutely love this spot! The Flyin Bulldog never disappoints. The smash burgers are incredibly flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Pair that with their fries, which are beautifully seasoned and perfectly crispy, and you have a killer meal. Heads up that it’s all outdoor seating, but they have plenty of covered space with TVs all around, so it's still super comfortable and a great place to catch a game. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, and the owners are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about your experience. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in Dunedin!

Great outdoor location. Walk up order and grab a seat. Food was good and service was great. They had live music and he was pretty good and funny also. A great addition to downtown. The place was busy but not packed.

Flying Bulldog ended up being one of those accidental finds that turns into “okay wait… we’re definitely coming back here.” After a long paddleboarding day from Dunedin Causeway over toward Caladesi, my friend and I were searching for live music and somewhere to relax on Mother’s Day Sunday. Surprisingly, downtown Dunedin felt pretty quiet, so when we happened to spot Flying Bulldog while turning around, we decided to stop in — and I’m so glad we did. Parking was super easy, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the entire place has this tucked-away local vibe that feels refreshing compared to some of the busier tourist-heavy spots around Dunedin. Everything is outdoor seating with plenty of shade, so it’s comfortable even on warmer Florida days. Huge bonus that it’s dog-friendly too, and they even sell dog treats at the counter. They were offering complimentary mimosas for moms along with $7.50 Sangria Sundays, which immediately won us over 😂 The mimosas were made with fresh squeezed orange juice and Prosecco, and the sangria was smooth, refreshing, and not overly sweet. We split the roast beef sandwich and were pleasantly surprised by how loaded it was with meat. The bread was amazing and the horseradish had just enough kick without overpowering the sandwich. Definitely worth it for the price. They also had live acoustic music by Matt Zitwer, which fit the vibe perfectly and made the afternoon even better. Just a really easygoing, relaxing atmosphere all around. As a Florida native, I don’t visit Dunedin as much as I used to because it can get pretty crowded and touristy, but Flying Bulldog reminded me why I used to love the area. This feels like one of those quieter little hidden gems you accidentally stumble upon and end up loving. Definitely planning to come back.

What a great new place in Downtown Dunedin! Amazing sandwiches and some impressive live music when playing. Fun vibe, great food, and perfect location. Wonderfully dog friendly as well 😎.

I honestly have just one complaint about The Flying Bulldog… it didn’t open sooner! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was next-level. Monique and Executive Chef Jason made us feel genuinely welcomed—it’s that rare kind of service that sticks with you. The whole vibe is laid-back, fun, and dog-friendly, which just makes the experience even better. Now let’s talk about the food… absolutely incredible. The sandwich called The Bear—a Chicago-style beef sandwich—comes with a side of au jus that takes it to a whole other level. Rich, flavorful, and downright addictive. And the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with Cooper cheese and sautéed onions is out of this world. Every bite just keeps getting better. This place isn’t just a five-star spot—it’s a seven-star experience. Do yourself a favor and get there ASAP. You’ll be glad you did.
