Mic's Kitchen

When first walking in to the restaurant, I noticed the music and the atmosphere. They people there were very friendly and smiling. I enjoyed their up beat music selection as well. The food itself was really good. Isn't smelled great and tasted even better. I'd say the food full of flavor. They have a good selection of different kinds of fries. They also have a decent size list of cocktails with variety. I would definitely recommend the fried steak burrito! Get a side of the garlic fries and put them into the burrito. It was so good! All right, I think the only change I would recommend. This is add more mac and cheese balls to the appetizer. They were really good but I felt like there just wasn't enough however I do also eat a lot!

Went during lunch! Chloe was great! The person bringing our food out was wonderful smiling and pleasant. The menu was more extensive than I thought and I was pleasantly surprised that they have a full bar!! The food was fast, delicious, and fairly priced - althoug the shrimp protein charge is a bit high. I will definitely be returning.

Looking at the menu and I saw that sweet honey cornbread and that’s what led me there lol. In all honesty they’ve definitely exceeded my expectations with the presentation and the delicious taste of the food! Everything was on point with that Southern homestyle taste to it especially the chili beans and hot catfish. I love the atmosphere and how they have board games you can play while waiting on your food or just in general. The waitresses were welcoming and attentive which made the whole experience top tier. Definitely will be back 10/10

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Mic's! The food was fresh and delicious. I understand that the owner went from a food truck to having her own restaurant in Gastonia! She truly has a knack for comfort food and the place makes you want to kick your shoes off because you'll truly feel at home. Even walking up to the restaurant was comforting... there are wonderful smelling herbs lining the outdoor seating. Very inviting!! The servers were a true asset to the restaurant as well. We visited on Halloween and the atmosphere made our food even more enjoyable. Chloe was our server and was so fun, eager and outgoing! We appreciate all of you and love supporting Gaston County small businesses!

What in the world?! I'm so mad that this place has been here for over a year and I had no clue. Now I know this may sound dramatic, but...this wasn't supper...this was church. Soulful religious experience! Have you ever sat down for a meal and been so disappointed because you felt like it was a waste of hard-earned money? Let me just tell you...that is not an issue here! Guy Fieri better get his butt to Gastonia, QUICK! The food isn't even the only thing to brag about! The prices are comparable to fast food, the atmosphere is cool but family friendly and the staff is kind! So happy to have discovered this GEM and also happy to be supporting a Black owned business! Already planning our next trip!
