Meeker's: A Colorado Kitchen & Bar

A quick stop at Meeker’s for dinner before the show at the Union Colony Center did not disappoint. Great service and good food did the trick for us. The wife and I split a cheeseburger and pretzel bites along with some good drinks and we were ready for the show. A 5☀️experience!

Always enjoy dining at Meekers! Bison meatballs and Truffle fries were perfect for a Saturday brunch. And did I mention Vincent makes a mean Pearl of the Plains?

It was our first time. Came on a Saturday morning and it wasn't busy at all. That didn't stop the service from being wonderful! (Usually, when a restaurant is slow, the service slows down too. That wasn't the case for our experience.) When we walked in it was a tad confusing at first. I think it's because we came in the restaurant entrance, not the hotel one. I had to talk to a bunch of servers gathered at the end of the bar at the other side of the restaurant to ask if we should just sit, or wait for them? They motioned us to sit. We got a spot by the window which was nice. There was a screen to pull when the sun got in our eyes, which was really good! Our server was Marquis, he was great. I got an omelet and my husband got the breakfast borrito. The food was all very good and tasted fresh. The buffet was tempting, as it's a full breakfast for a flat price. I did use the restroom which was very clean and well kept. Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to trying the lunch menu!

Went for breakfast, party of 4, 9am on a Saturday. Didn't realize it was a part of a Double Tree. Service was very slow, only 2 employees, but only 2 or 3 tables there. They had a menu and a buffet. We ordered off the menu. Coffee was luke warm and bitter. Omelet was okay. Hash browns had no season and were cold. Pancakes were good. My kids said it tasted like hotel food. Best description I can think of.

First, came in on Saturday morning around 9. Service was incredibly slow. Took forever to get our orders in, get our drinks, get the food, etc. My coffee came and was lukewarm at best. Got a refill halfway through the meal and asked for some fresh hot coffee. It came hot but all of the coffee is pretty bitter. The eggs Benedict tasted fine and were the highlight of the meal. However, the accompanying hashbrowns were cold and bland. Honestly, the whole experience was pretty blah and kind of what you would expect from a hotel.
