(from Google)Came in for dinner and there was no wait for a two top. I got the beef thai salad and it was okay but the rice was undercooked and was hard. I got a few mixed drinks and the specialty cocktails were decent. The ambiance was cool but overall I felt a little too close to the tables around us. Also, not a fish expert but I felt like their fishtank was very small for the fish they have.
No lower-to-ground seating for my frail 84 year old mother in law who uses a walker. We hoisted her onto a stool and hoped for the best. Fried oysters I ordered were delicious. Fried shrimp tasted old, cold, and chewy. Asparagus was just okay, like a C-. Husband and mother in law loved their steak and quesadilla. Waitress was wonderful.
Very vintage and cozy spot, great for families as well. Loved the Ahi Tuna sandwich and the fries. Fried fish could have been better but it was a very big piece of fish. I could taste the bitter of the deep frying oil, reason why I am giving 4 stars. Overall, I liked the atmosphere and the sandwiches. Great servers as well.
I went to this establishment and the food was not good. I ordered the she crab soup and it was full of Oregono. I did not realize oregano could ever be that over powering. I could not get around it as it was potent and so much of it. It was as if half a bottle was dumped into the bowl. The shrimp and grits came out like tomato soup mixed with grits. It too was full pf oregano and the green beans were hard.
My wife and I ate there for early dinner Sunday. The food was great.. the service was less than stellar. We did steak with someone about it and they rectified the issue. We'll definitely be back.
