I tried giving this place the benefit of the doubt. So I went a couple of times before I wrote the review. Both times I went it was a horrible experience. I will say the staff is friendly and very courteous. As far as the food a definite no. Both times the grease was old, so the food didn’t have a fresh clean taste. The first time I ordered fish. Bad taste due to dirty grease. The last time I went I ordered jumbo shrimp and fries. The batter was falling off the shrimp and the fries were soggy. A complete waste of money..

The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We had both the flounder basket and the shrimp basket. We will come back to this restaurant again.

The food was fresh and the portions were great. I loved the butter they provided with the hush puppies. TT's customer service was excellent!! Smiled, greeted us, helped us out. I would love to size some pictures of people finishing or some type of family gathering/reunion pictures on the wall. Make it more relatable. Everything was delicious!!!

I have eaten here twice and both times I had good experiences. The staff is nice, the restaurant is clean and the food is good. Plus, you get a lot for your money.

The Stars are simply for the staff that I encountered in my visit. The service and the food were extraordinary!! I would've enjoyed it more if they were paid more than $8.50 hourly. Today was my first visit and gladly, there was a frequent swimmer (regular customer) who made a recommendation for the catfish and shrimp basket. You'll see why in the photos why I enjoyed it. The manager on staff, Kelly Jones & JT, the chef, both made my dining experience worth the trip. Because they are not compensated a quality of life wage, I will not return until they are paid more than $22 hourly. I don't make that decision however, it sickened me during the conversation that they earn $8.50 hourly. $8.50 is a deplorable wage for anyone in this economy. Thank you guys for being effervescent and a joy to experience today. No reply is necessary ~The "finance" customer.
