Flounder's Chowder House

We had a group of about 16 meet at Flounders on a weeknight around 5:30. Some of us were coming from out of town. We were a little concerned since they don’t take reservations but we called to let them know we were coming. We were assured that they would try to accommodate us. They delivered and the evening was perfect!! We were given a long table outside that fit most of the group and an extra table next to us for overflow. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. She had a great attitude and timed everything perfectly. All the food looked delicious and everyone seemed happy with it. We had the sound on one side of us and even with full restaurant it was easy to talk. If we have another get together we will definitely have it at Flounders!!

One of my must stops when in the area! Headed to Orange Beach this time and drove out of the way just to grab a piece of the best key lime pie around! Its always nostalgic and brings back great memories! Can't wait for our next visit. Oh and coconut shrimp is my other favorite dish!!!

The food here was amazing. They have both side parking, volleyball nets, and space to play, fireside fit indoor and outdoor eating. The stuff flounder they recommended was amazing and it’s their signature dish. The fried oysters were huge. The stuffed crabs were some of the best I’ve ever had. The picture I have pictured has a few missing lol. Oh and they also have a playground for the kids. Big shout out to our waitress Erin, she was great. It is such a cool place to hang out for a while.

I’ve been to Flounder’s in Pensacola, Florida four times now, and it never disappoints! Every visit has been consistently fantastic, from the laid-back beachy atmosphere to the friendly service. Any seafood plate you order is absolutely out of this world,fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every time. Their sushi is also incredibly delicious, which really sets them apart with such a great variety of options. And you have to try their specialty drink, the Bushwacker,it’s the perfect treat to top off an already amazing meal. This place has definitely become one of my go-to spots in Pensacola, and I’ll keep coming back whenever I’m in town!

What an incredible restaurant! From the food, to staff to atmosphere! The restaurant is massive, so you will be seated quickly. There is no shortage of staff, and they are incredibly happy! The two waitresses we had absolutely raved about working there, and they were incredibly sweet. There is also a playground and large area for the kids to play, so don’t worry about them getting ancy, they’re even given a pail and shovel to use. The menu has everything and anything you want, and the bread and butter is to die for! Prices are fair, too. We ate here multiple times and were not disappointed one time. Seriously, what an incredible place!
