(from Google)I will say it's close to the place I was staying at; the vibe is really good. The person singing is wonderful, and he played old-school Puerto Rican classics as well as new songs. The atmosphere is very nice; the server was very nice and polite. He was always checking up on us; this part, from other reviews, was correct. The food does take a little longer to get to your table, but it was delicious, and I would go back again. Prices are similar to tourist areas. Get the bottle if you drink wine♡
Their Ceviche was excellent and my personal favorite. It was so good that I gave them a second visit. It is generously filled with fresh grouper fish and it is served with fresh plantain chips and although the plantain chips are good I would personally preferred that it be paired actual fried plantains. On my first visit I had the ceviche, and also had fresh passion fruit juice which was excellent. For my entree I had the shrimp mofongo with the white sauce and man was it good! The mofongo wasn’t dry and it was very filling. My wife had the same. On the second visit we had fresh lemon juice which was excellent and of course the ceviche once again. For our entrees, my wife had the mac and cheese burger which she says was excellent and I had the grilled chicken with cilantron sauce with white rice and beans. The chicken was a bit dry and the rice and beans were underwhelming as I am puerto rican and expect great rice and beans especially in Puerto Rico. Otherwise, It was a great experience and nice restaurant with a beautiful beach view!
Palo is a very well located restaurant. The views from there deck is amazing. The food was so good. The waitress Alanis was so accommodating and helpful. The drinks were so delicious. We want to try the surf and turf filet and lobster. We can't wait to go back. So glad we stumble upon your awesome and clean establishment.
What an incredible experience! The place itself is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view that makes the atmosphere even more special. The food was amazing — fresh and perfectly prepared. But sometimes it’s not only about the food or the view — it’s about the experience and the service. And this is where this restaurant truly stands out. We received the best service we could have asked for. Puerto Ricans are known for their hospitality, but here you can genuinely feel the warmth, love, and pride behind the service. Our waitress Alanis was incredibly professional, positive, and attentive. She welcomed us with a smile, gave excellent recommendations, and made us feel truly valued as guests. People like her make all the difference in this industry. She didn’t just serve us — she created a beautiful and unforgettable experience for us. Thank you so much for your kindness dear Alanis, your energy, and your professionalism - you deserve this post - We will never forget this experience and will definitely be back! ♡
We didn't have a good experience with Margaritas. Cocktails in general are not the best. We ordered the whole snapper, not the best one kind of dry and not that tasty. Also the mofongo kind of dry as well as the mahi mahi. However, the Mampoateao special was good. I believe that this place has good reviews because of the terrace with ocean view. A turn down is that they took approximately 45 minutes to serve the food we ordered, and the place was not even full. However, the waitress was very responsive and friendly!. They agreed to change the Margaritas.
