The Scrambled Egg

First time visiting, and overall I had a great experience. I came in around 1:20 p.m. and asked for decaf coffee. I was told it had already been dumped, which was unfortunate since they close at 2:00. After my food came out, Kristen checked on me and I jokingly said it would be even better with decaf. A few minutes later, she surprised me with a fresh pot she brewed just for me. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. Kristen was friendly, attentive, and made my visit memorable. As a former firefighter, I also appreciated supporting a firefighter-owned business and the first responder discount. The food was good, too. My only suggestion is to hold off on closing activities until closing time. While customers were still eating, chairs were being put on tables, employees were cleaning around us, and there was a lot of loud joking and yelling between the front and back of the restaurant. It wasn’t inappropriate, but it made it feel like we were being rushed. Kristen’s excellent service is the reason I’ll be back.

If you are looking for an amazing place to have breakfast or brunch this is the spot! This a FAMILY OWNED establishment and they are from the BRONX, where I was born!!! You most taste the NY WATER BAGEL! Take it from me. It is legit! Victoria, our beautiful joy filled server just was the cherry on top of a beautiful experience!!!! Go to THE SCRAMBLED EGG!

Terrible experience and won’t be back. Took 20 min just to take our drink order and another 10 to actually get them. We ordered our food when we ordered drinks and sat for over an hour and a half. In the meantime, we were asked to move to tables so a larger party could sit at ours, so we shifted. Our waitress never checked on us or gave us a food update. There was no communication that food would take as long as it did and when we asked another server to check on it, she never came back out. When our food finally came out, it came out staggered, so not everyone had food at the same time. My husband got a wrap and a few bites in found the square plastic bread tie inside his wrap. Last straw for us. We understand it was a holiday, but lack of communication and service was atrocious. Oh, and the large party that we moved tables for walked out as well because it was taking so long. I don’t really know if it was the kitchen taking forever but when the most complicated item ordered was a burger, it shouldn’t take 90 min to make it to the table.

Found this hidden gem in Fishhawk. Atmosphere is welcoming. Harry the manager greeted us with a smile and was absolutely pleasant. The food was amazing.. everything ordered was flavorful with big portions served.. we ate every bite,definitely coming back! Oh, and they have Mimosas!!
