Best restaurant in IL, no diff. (best Rueben on earth, only thing I've gotten for the last 15 years) Great atmosphere, good people, great owners. 10/10 will go again and drink a half-gallon of 1000 island with my Rueben again.

Mrs. P & Me is a wonderful restaurant! It's warm, inviting, and consistently serves delicious food. Service is top-notch; our server was attentive and helpful. I had the Blues Burger, which was perfectly prepared and generous. The cozy, classic atmosphere is great for any occasion. A true MP institution: great food, people, and value. Great historic Tavern/Restaurant. Excellent service and great food. I sat at the century old bar with the original bar back. The place is beautiful. I had a simple but tasty corned beef on rye. Genuine amounts of lean corned beef in the sandwich. I asked for loaded fries and they were delicious using thick steak fries. A definite place to go to if you love good food in a historic place.

Not a bad place to get a bite to eat in downtown Mount Prospect. There is a decent selection of beverages and the food is all right. Not a very large space so large groups can be kind of tight. They often host live music and have outdoor seating as well.
