Urban Grub

This restaurant is great! It's best to make a reservation to make sure you can get a table, since it seems pretty busy. Also for parking, they have complimentary valet parking so no need to worry about parking! The service was great, with everyone being very nice and accommodating. They are very attentive and efficient. The food was wonderful! As you would expect with a finer restaurant, the prices are quite high but the higher cost is reflected in the excellent quality of the food. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious; many of the options had creative sides and elements that aren't typical in a more casual place. The atmosphere is wonderful, with dim, comfortable lighting and great music (a lot of 80's pop and 2000s pop when we were there!). Each table has an overhead light and a smaller table light with 3 light settings so you can change the light temperature or turn it off completely. There are also TVs that were playing various sports games. Overall, a wonderful setting for a nice meal and a great vibe! Great for date night, game night, or complimenting a night out on the town :)

We ordered multiple things for the table to share and everything was fantastic. Our server Mathew was great. Gave us all the info about the place but it didn't feel overwhelming. They've got an on-site butcher, bar seating indoor and outdoor, there's a brunch buffet or regular menu items.

As a table we had a beautiful spread of absolutely delicious food. We tried: The brussel sprouts, the crab beignets, that delicious cheesy cloud bread, steak frites, branzino, rabbit ragu, the salmon, pork chop and NY strip. Everything was amazing. The fries are cooked in beef tallow!! The presentation was beautiful, the meat was tender. The service was wonderful, our waitress explained the menu thoroughly and our cups were never empty. Also if note: I get anxious when I have to find parking anywhere in Nashville when it's busy but they offer free valet which makes it SO much easier to visit! We will be back!!!

Fantastic dining experience with a menu that holds its own. Really great service and our server was super attentive. Love that the space used to be a carwash and they converted it in 2012, now it has indoor seating, a bar, patio, beer garden, and fire pit all custom designed. Offer complimentary valet which is clutch since parking in 12 South can be tough. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

They were great and helped our team accommodate a 23 ppl last minute reservation! The food was amazing, the pork was life changing, amazing drinks. Good ambiance. And our waitstaff was attentive and patient with our large group.
