Great little place. The menu is small, but the food was great! Don't get the nachos unless you have at least 4 people, or you are starving with the munchies from Hell. The smash burger was exactly what you want in a burger and the tenderloin is super thick and juicy. I would definitely go back again (and bring 3 more people).
While The Piper was rather busy, accommodation was made for our large group, from Fort Wayne, that was in town for a Showchoir event at the local high school. Matt, the owner, was kind enough to share the nostalgic story regarding the name of this neighborhood establishment. The Piper is a fine eatery and watering hole that gives a fresh new spin to the location that used to house The Sandpiper. The food and drink choices were sufficient, and the preparation, delivery, and taste were even more satisfying. My wife and I were very pleased with the atmosphere and even told Matt that if we lived in the area, we would definitely be regular patrons. Highly recommend that if anyone is looking for a local option, you should make the choice to stop into The Piper. Thank you, and we will visit again!
This was a surprise visit. My wife took me here on a whim on a Saturday night to watch football. We got the tenderloin sandwich and the smash burger with fries. They were both delicious. I will be back because the wings and the nachos looked great. We sat in the bar area and the service from the bartenders was spot on.
Was looking for a place kinda off grid to avoid all the crazy Christmas shoppers and traffic and ended up at the Piper! Had a wonderful first time visit! They have a friendly, fun knowledgeable and entertaining staff and we met a few friendly patrons while visiting. The nachos are top notch! I highly recommend! Really looking forward to coming back soon and trying some other items on the menu! 5 ✨'s!
