We had an amazing time, food was delicious and drinks were incredible! So good we went the next night for dinner again!

New Mexican restaurant in the Vue hotel on US19 in Palm Harbor. Hearing mixed reviews I went to see for myself. I give them a solid 3 1/2 stars The exciting decor and vibe invites you in and makes you want to stay. Bright, colorful, fun, Day of the Dead Service was attentive. I will say walking in and watching servers walk around there could definitely be a more inviting behavior than there is but as far as having my order taken and delivered, no complaints. Food: Food was decent to good. Nothing that blew me away and I’ve definitely had better but still pretty legit and worth coming back. The classic margarita which I got for free with a Facebook coupon and was undrinkable. Really really bad. I’ve had not so great margaritas I would still drink this is the first margarita I’ve had where I just couldn’t force myself it was that bad. Price: I got the chimichangas that These were good but very small especially for $20 There are other places in north Pinellas with much larger portions for less. If I come back I will probably get something different or only come for the specials that are more reasonably priced. While I was there somebody ordered the margarita flight that comes in the airplane and it included an entire show that was fun to watch. But they want $30 for it!!! Typically a flight of any kind is $12-15 I get the margarita flight at Bahama breeze all the time for half that price Overall it’s a great addition to Palm Harbor and worth a visit My understanding is they also own Taco Quila in Clearwater

Everything was excellent the moment we walked into this establishment. The decor and the ambience is perfect. The food was delicious with so many options. A very large menu and a very large cocktail list as well. Such a great atmosphere and our server,Luz, was the absolute best. Thank you and we will be back soon!

My husband and I had a great meal here at Casa Mateo Mexican Kitchen. The food was great! I had the fajita Texana and my husband had the Enchiladas Supermas. The atmosphere was great and I would describe the decor as Modern Mexican. My only suggestion would be to dim the lights a bit and create a more moody vibe. We caught a few birthday celebrations that were more festive than most other restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our experience and would recommend to everyone. The service is just outstanding - ask for Yvonne she was outstanding.
