(from Google)Such a fun place with anything you could ever want! The menu has so many options but they have the best sandwiches. But have sure to leave room for dessert because they have their own full bakery! They also have fun themed nights to enjoy - dinner and a show!
**5-Star Review:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Best Deli in the Area – A True NYC Gem in Palm Harbor!** I recently visited **Lucky Dill Deli** at 33180 US Hwy 19 N in Palm Harbor and it completely delivered on that authentic New York deli experience! The pastrami sandwich was piled sky-high with tender, perfectly seasoned meat on fresh rye—juicy, flavorful, and big enough for lunch plus leftovers. Their matzo ball soup was rich and comforting, and the house-made Russian dressing elevated everything. The staff was super friendly and efficient, even during the busy lunch crowd. The place has a lively, welcoming vibe that’s perfect for a quick bite or relaxing with coffee and one of their fantastic bakery items. Huge portions, fresh ingredients, and that classic deli taste made it a standout meal. This spot has been a local favorite for over 30 years for good reason! I’ll definitely be back soon—probably for the Reuben or that hot pastrami with Havarti. If you’re craving real deli food on the Gulf Coast, this is the place. Highly recommend—five stars! 🥪🥒🍰
I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I arrived around 7:00 PM and waited at the host desk for nearly ten minutes to be seated, even though the restaurant was not busy. I ordered a bowl of matzo ball soup but was served a cup. When I pointed this out, the waitress apologized and took it back, only to return a few minutes later with the same cup. When I explained again that I had ordered a bowl, she told me the only difference was they added half a matzo ball as one and a half matzo balls instead of one is their difference between cup and bowl. That is misleading and makes the advertised option of a “bowl” feel pointless. I then received my egg salad sandwich, which I ordered with onions and No tomatoes. It arrived with tomatoes and no onions. Instead of remaking it, I was offered onions on the side and left to fix it myself. For a $20 sandwich, that is unacceptable. The sandwich was bland and not prepared as ordered. By the time I requested my check, service had slowed even further. I waited 15 minutes for the bill, despite the restaurant being nearly empty, only three tables were occupied at that point. I was honestly too tired to argue that the mistake with the tomatoes was never removed from the bill. I spent $32 for a meal and service that fell far below expectations. There are plenty of other places where you can eat better for that price and get better service. Do better! I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
I have driven past The lucky Dill so many times but never stopped until yesterday. Now I know what I was missing. The food was so good and Jen, our server, made the whole experience wonderful 😊. Next time I'll definitely stop here instead of just driving by. The bakery looked so good. I wanted to buy a cookie but the two ladies behind the counter never even acknowledged me but that won't keep me from coming back. 😁
This is such a cute restaurant. It's decorated with New York decor. The menu has a good selection, they have some authentic New York dishes. I got half a sandwich with a salad. The portion was much bigger than I thought it would be. The food was very good. They have a counter where you can purchase as much bakery as you would like. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's a very nice place.
