Duke’s Brewhouse

Had a great experience at this restaurant. My buddies and I go several times a week. Nicole usually is are our bartender and She always gives us good service.The drinks and food are always good.

I’ve been coming to Dukes Brewhouse in Plant City time and time again because the food never disappoints, and last Thursday was another great experience. A few buddies and I grabbed a table at the bar area, and between the good food, cold drinks, and great atmosphere. Nicole, our bartender, was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, engaging, and always making sure we had everything we needed without ever missing a beat. You can tell she cares about her customers and works hard. What really stood out though was watching her stay professional and composed while dealing with a bar patron who was being unnecessarily rude to her. Everyone at our table noticed it, and we were all just shaking our heads. People like Nicole are a big reason places like Dukes have loyal customers, and she handled the situation with way more patience than most would.

Went to Dukes last Thursday night about 8:30 pm and it was the worst experience. The bar tender was a young blonde woman with an attitude. The bar was not busy and it was almost 10 minutes to get a beer. The woman spent a lot of time talking to table of four behind me. After about 10/15 minutes she went behind the bar and I had to flag her down for a menu. Then right back to that table. After a half hour I was finally able to order and the food took almost another 20 to 30 minutes for wings and a hot dog. I had no utensils so I turned around and the woman was back at the table. I looked over several times to get her attention and the patrons behind ask me why I was staring at them. They were rude and I said I need some utensils. The woman said I am closing their check. Further, others times I saw her at entrance at the kitchen just hanging out and talking to her workers. I had a hot, wings and three beers that too over two hours. FYI all the wait staff were going behind the bars and seem to be filling their own orders while the bartender was mia. A couple sat down next to me and I almost said something, it was the woman’s parents. Glad I didn’t say anything. However, nice patrons and sports kept me occupied from not walking out.

Food is good. Wings were nice. Different sauces tasted good. Fries and onion rings were good. Water was not filtered. Very rough. Beer and sodas fine. I would recommend a table instead of bar. Bartender non existent many people waiting on food and to order. Maybe short staffed. Who knows. Manager just stood in back corner didn’t do anything. Didn’t pitch in to help. I will come back for food but won’t sit at bar.

This was our first time here, I was very impressed! I counted 27 TVs, they had on a little bit of everything. Our server, Nicole, was very friendly, she took great care of us. Everything tasted great, the beers were ice cold. The live entertainment was fantastic, Friday only, be sure to check it out!
