Had a great bartender named " Critter". She was the best. Good vibes excellent service. Would highly recommend. That young lady deserves a raise. Briefly met the owner please call or I will simply drop off at the bar all the things I would like to donate. Thank you for a wonderful experience .

It's a bar and not a restaurant, but there is a restaurant next door that delivers your food to you in the bar. Highly recommend you try them if you haven't already. And the owner of The Tropics is lovely, creating a fun, welcoming environment. They post monthly calendars and nightly drink specials on IG. This bar is the best for meeting other fun people in town, karaoke, trivia, and they have a coin-op pool table. Negatives would be a small parking lot and limited seating.

Kat is the best bar tender in Redding hands down. She never leaves you thirsty nor with out a smile on your face leaving the tropics! Great place to met with family and friends to have some delicious craft drinks and ice cold beer!

If ya judge the bar by it's cover, you may not ever make it in... but I liked the ol place. It is the oldest watering hole in Redding (That I know of). Friendly atmosphere and clean- Pool table and a few arcade style games as well as an ATM inside. I was lured in by some live music at the "kinda Cool April nites" car show-n-shine. As far as the beverages, they have a great selection and highly skilled bartenders as well ;) Go visit the ol' South Redding place, you may never leave!
