Leaven Brewing

This was our first visit, and it was around 12p on a Saturday. If you are ordering food, which was what we came in for, you should expect to wait a while. The menu has a nice variety of sandwiches and apps, and the food is really good! But their focus is the beer, which customers seem to enjoy! Every table had some variety, and you can easily start a tab at the counter. Also, while you wait for your food, feel free to grab one of the board games and play something. We didn't, but there were options. We ordered the pretzel as an app, and it arrived steaming hot (we had to give it a few minutes, even after tearing it up, lol) and the cheese dip was really good, too! Know that their other drinks are all in bottles, including water, if you are not ordering one of their drafts. My Caprese sandwich was awesome, the amount of cheese and other ingredients was spot on! We also ordered the Italian (as a wrap) and the Club sandwich. My son didn't actually like the Italian (the meat being chopped up just isn't his thing, but the taste was good). The server came over to ask how we were doing, and when I told her, she instantly offered to get him something else. He chose the BLT and said it as great, bacon was perfect, and it came out quickly. We are not "send it back" people, so he felt bad, but she was really nice about it and let us box up the wrap. The atmosphere is very chill, no frills, nothing to distract you from your friends/family, and you can clearly see where the beer is made! I get why my neighbors love coming here to meet up with other friends, and I hope Leaven sticks around in Riverview for a long time!

We were on a major road trip across several southern states hitting every brewery along the way. In the end, Leaven Brewing made it to the top of our list. Management was over-the-top friendly, and the beers were top-notch. Thanks for a great experience in Spring 2026.

The atmosphere at this micro brewery is friendly, welcoming to newcomers & just generally fabulous! The beer offerings are varied and delicious no matter your taste preferences. Katie and Natalie were working when we were there - our glasses were never empty! Overall a great local brewery that welcomed friends from near and far.

Started off with the aging hipster, such an amazing drink! Then the lovely bartenders steered me into the right direction to the whole hog sandwich. Let me tell you there’s no food around here like Leaven brewing! 10/10 place and the bartenders are super personable! Thank you Katie & Natalie for such a wonderful experience! Can’t wait to come back.

A very nice brewery in my opinion. I haven't been to one in about three years or so, but I enjoyed this one. At the moment I don't even drink alcohol, so that's saying something. I had a water but the sandwiches there were excellent. I opted for the grilled cheese this time, as I wasn't all that hungry, but boy was it it great! This was a first, as I've never gone to an establishment and ordered a grilled cheese sandwich (I may have ordered one from the kid's meal in my younge years at certain restaurants), but this grilled cheese was great. I chose the capicola for the add-on and was pleased with that. I initially intended to order the Italian but I changed my mind at the last minute. The staff was very friendly and patient with me while I ordered. I will most definitely make an effort to return here in the future. I also appreciate the fact that they have outdoor seating which was nice. Next time I go back I'll have to try The Meatball. One of the patrons there recommended it and I figured that if these folks can make a grilled cheese sandwich taste this good, it would be worth it. Also, I forgot to take a gander at their merchandise so I'll have to remember to peruse their wares next time I visit. Overall, a good place.
