Rafael's Kitchen & Mad Coffee

We had a wonderful experience at Rafael’s and Mad Coffee. The customer service was outstanding from the moment we walked in, and both the food and drinks were excellent. I had the avocado toast, which was fresh, flavorful, and very tasty. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, and they were absolutely amazing. For drinks, he had a vanilla latte and I had a chai tea latte — both were delicious and made perfectly. The atmosphere, quality, and friendly service made this a place we will definitely return to. Highly recommend!

Absolute hidden Gem in Santa Ana! This was my third visit to Rafael’s Kitchen in the last month, and they continue to absolutely knock it out of the park. Having tried their dinner recently, where I had a pizza that was flat-out delicious. I was excited to finally check out their breakfast menu on this latest trip. I ordered the Santa Ana breakfast burrito, and it was fantastic. The flavors were spot on, especially when paired with their incredible green salsa, which had the perfect kick. My colleague ordered the strawberry pancakes, and they were outstanding, fluffy, fresh, and perfectly done. What really elevated the entire experience, though, was the service. Our server Ari was absolutely great and so incredibly sweet. From the moment we sat down, Ari was attentive, kept our drinks filled, and brought amazing energy and personality to the table. It’s rare to find service that is both highly professional and genuinely warm, but Ari made us feel incredibly welcome. Whether you are stopping in for an amazing dinner or a delicious breakfast, this place delivers. I will definitely be back soon, huge thanks to the kitchen and to Ari for a wonderful morning!

I visited this place for the first time this morning and I absolutely love it. Glad I found it. Edgar was out server and he was so nice and attentive. Had the crab eggs Benedict and omelet, they were bomb. The strawberry latte and red velvet latte were also super good. Even got the Rafael's special pizza to go which I'm very excited to try later. Definitely coming back!

Truly one of the best coffee experiences I’ve had to date! The owner, Ashley, is a ray of sunshine, and you can immediately tell this shop is her passion, pride, and joy. She makes you feel genuinely seen and takes the time to recommend new flavors and combinations that will truly blow you away. Their seasonal birthday cake latte will make you feel like it’s your birthday every day while it’s on the menu. It perfectly captures the heart of this place, celebrating people and building a growing community. It’s worth the drive no matter where you’re coming from. I’m so excited to make this a new staple coffee spot in my weekly routine!

This is our go-to Saturday morning brunch spot, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently excellent, and the menu variety keeps us coming back. If you’re a coffee lover, the tiramisu latte is an absolute must-try, it’s delicious! What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, but we have to give a special shout-out to Kenya. She provides amazing service every single time and makes us feel right at home. Plus, having the option to sit inside or enjoy the outdoor seating is a huge bonus. Thank you, Kenya, for always taking such great care of us! FYI there’s parking in front of the place. They validate parking.
