Lindberg's Tavern

We came to this amazing restaurant with old style construction. It has a old school speak easy feel to it. One of Springfield oldest bars I hear. It was on Feb 12th 2026 when we went to the book club night and watched live performances from local artists and we ordered a good ol' greasy burger and frys like only a hole in the wall bar can offer! 😄 It was a great time with friends food and great talent. The gals behind the bar were very busy and kept up with a packed house it was really impressive. I highly recommend this bar.

Let me just say “it was a sultry night”. I wish there were more stars to give. But they were busy working behind the bar. I believe their names were Kelly & Ace of broken hearts. Let me charge my phone with her personal charger And the kitchen crew made me a deliscous turkey club since the kitchen had just closed. the music played till their fingers bled. It was very warm & cozy to be able to thaw out from the bone chilling outdoors elements. Oh yeah & the beers were ice cold. All in all it was a fine time and experience had by all that were fortunate enough to be there. Thank you again to the lovely ladies behind the bar for making me feel so welcome and special. & they gave me a souvenir pack of real matches. Who has matches anymore?!!

Hidden gem when it comes to burgers. All their burgers are cooked in duck fat... Yes.. It makes a huge difference. It's so good!! They have Sunday brunch specials, this place is definitely a well kept secret!! And the bar, it makes the vibes perfect for brunch, dinner, early lunch, all the above.

Wonderful food! Kind and attentive service. Our server offered great suggestions and shared a little about the history of the building. There is a beautiful bar in this restaurant. Note that this place transforms into a music venue at night. Looks like fun!

Fun urban tavern vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried all different things at the table & loved them all. The house made ketchup is AMAZING. Our server Ryan was very knowledgeable about the food & kept us happy while we were there. We are foodies, and will absolutely be back!
