Coconut Charlie's Beach Bar & Grill

Staff was friendly, food was amazing, and you can't beat the view! I got the fried grouper sandwich and it was incredible, the key lime pie was also delicious!

If you make reservations please know that is for the grill which is in front of the hotel by the road not by the beach. Best bet just show up in the back and seat yourself. Inside food was more like a Bahamas Breeze vibe. Drink was ok they were out of alot of options from salad option. Teriyaki chicken screws were really good.

This beachfront restaurant bar on St. Pete Beach is exactly what you hope to find when you’re looking for a relaxed, fun spot by the water. I only stopped in for drinks this time, but everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked incredible—the menu is surprisingly diverse, and every dish that passed by looked fresh and well-prepared. The drinks were the real highlight for me. They were made perfectly—balanced, refreshing, and clearly crafted by people who know what they’re doing. Even better, the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. There’s plenty of seating right out by the beach, so you can sit back with a drink, feel the ocean breeze, and watch the sunset. Add in live music every night, and it really creates a great atmosphere that’s hard to beat. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to—next time, I’m trying the food.

Service and atmosphere were easily 5 stars. Plenty of seats and space for crowds. Nice loud music. They also have a deck with hammocks and chairs out in the sandy area. I stopped by for a couple drinks and a bite to eat as it was my birthday. I enjoyed my first experience here. The reason for 3 stars is the parking. If im coming here to spend money at the restaurant why do i need to pay for parking? And for that reason I wouldn’t return unless i get a ride because paying for parking is simply ridiculous.

We Ate at the Coconut Charlie's located in the Hilton Garden Inn, in St. Petersburg Florida. Exceptional Service and Delicious food. We dined here three different times. Breakfast twice and again for Dinner one evening. I had the best Grilled Chicken Alfredo I have ever had. My Wife raved about how good Her Skillet was in the morning. Also the Bacon was done just the way I like it. Shout out to Eddie, Thanks for the stories. Lol!
