1983 Restaurant, Bar & Arcade

My son treated me to brunch for my birthday, and both of us really enjoyed the overall experience. We shared the Philly cheesesteak rolls; they were so good! My son loved the cheese sauce, and I really like the mango pepper jam, so it worked out perfectly! For the entrees, my son had the Skirt Steak Hash, and I had the American Breakfast. My son loved the Hash! Our wonderful server, Angel, recommended it to him after my son told him he was in the mood for steak, and it hit the spot! As for my meal, it was exactly what I wanted, a simple breakfast with a pancake on the side. The pancake was a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like it! Angel was great! He really went above and beyond to make our first experience a pleasant one. Matt, the manager on duty, stopped by the table to say hi and shared some helpful tips for the arcade side after I told him I’d be back in a couple weeks with my grandkids. The food and vibes were great and service was wonderful; I’m looking forward to coming back. :)

My girlfriends and I came to brunch here for my birthday on Sunday for bottomless mimosas and the chicken tender tower. The food was great but the service was out of this world. Our server Justin went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a memorable one, and I honestly can’t rave about him enough! He made me feel so special for my birthday. He kept the mimosas flowing, brought us out a free skillet cookie for dessert and even gave me a birthday card personally signed by the staff. His bubbly personality was exactly what we needed to complete the experience! We begged him to get in our group picture at the end and now we are even Instagram friends. I hope to be close friends with him in real life too because he’s such a bright light and beautiful human. It’s really hard these days to find waite staff with such a positive attitude and eagerness to serve like that. Will be going back specifically to see him. Thank you so much, Justin!

Took the family here after the Plant HS TEDx talk. Had great service from Lane, enjoyed the meal and then Justin showed up to make sure we were satisfied and gave us our check. Surprised to see him since we thought Lane was a terrific server! Turns out Justin is a great teacher because Lane was totally on point. Both added to the experience and we were grateful to meet them, great representatives of this business! Our Family bonded over the Arcade and that was a blast! Came here after my cousin’s graduation from UT! There were 8 of us and the server was able to serve us quickly and efficiently. He was knowledgeable on the menu and gave great recommendations! I had the teriyaki salmon bowl and it was super delicious! We also had a variety of appetizers that the table devoured too quickly for me to take pictures of! Next time I’m in the area, it would be nice to visit again!

Sooo 1983 Restaurant hasn’t missed for me. I’ve been twice now, and the food has been consistently very good. I love the inside remodel, and the outdoor area is super chill with some game options and a separate arcade space. Everything has tasted really fresh each time I’ve gone, and I hope they keep that up. I’ll definitely be back!
