Acropolis Greek Taverna - New Tampa

First visit here...busy Saturday with big birthday groups. Sevda was lovely. Had their tasty sampler, Mythos beer, moussaka...the steak kabob hood flavor but a bit overdone, so insist on medium rare. Good portions. Opa!

We had an amazing dining experience! The food was authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious—from the appetizers were we have Calamari to the sweet cream puff and baklava. A special thank you to Kamal for his outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our meal. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

We had a great experience at Acropolis Greek Restaurant in New Tampa! Located right off Bruce B. Downs, it’s easy to access—even with the heavier traffic in the area. There’s plenty of parking available, though it can get a bit busy since it’s in a shopping center with multiple businesses. We also noticed handicap parking, and the restaurant is handicap accessible with plenty of room to move around—even with a wheelchair. The restaurant itself was clean, open, and had plenty of seating. While we chose to sit inside, the covered outdoor area looked very inviting, complete with a TV and hookahs. The food was delicious and more than enough to satisfy! Our only minor feedback would be that we would’ve loved a bit more pita bread with the dips, and the chicken kabobs were slightly dry—but we’ve noticed that can be common at many Greek restaurants. Overall, a wonderful dining experience, and we look forward to coming back!

Have loved me some Acropolis Greek Taverna’s for the past 15 years. Food is really never a disappointment. I was taken aback by the damaged dish and how such an important detail passed by the eyes of the crew in the kitchen without being discarded and replaced as it should. Nobody likes to eat on plates that shows signs of being chipped.
